Dear Brethren and Co-Workers in Christ:

Greetings from Grover Beach, California.

Originally, the plan was for one prophetic sermonette and one historical sermon for this Sabbath, but as it turned out, both are related to church history. Most who profess Christianity do not understand church history, which is ones of the reasons that they are not part of the true Church of God.

Related to reaching others, we received another 20 translations of our English booklet titled The Gospel of the Kingdom of God as part of the preparation for the Final Phase of the Work as well as to support the ultimate fulfillment of Revelation 7:9.

Jesus, said, “I was hungry and you gave Me food”

As mentioned last week, the United Nations warned about severe hunger in places like Malawi.

Dear pastor Dr Bob,

Church greetings,thank you so much for the food aid you sent through me to the Malawians and as people continuing suffering due to dry spells that happened this year, Continuing Church of God is with them, God’s true church continuing sharing food to the needy which is very good,this is very good example from the bible,I was hungry but you never feed me,but with continuing is able to feed the hungry,we must continuing praying for God to provide more,this week I was able to share the food to 2 church groups namely Migowi and Likhulula church,due to bad roads I was not able to carry the food to the church but we just met at a certain place where this work has done,you can see that one has stood behind bag of 50kg weight,when one received the bag was able to share to 2 to 3 people according how big or small the family is,I also gave some funds to new church branch so that they can buy food and share among church families,thank you so much pastor Evans,this can not be done without your word,be blessed.

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (Matthew 25:31-46)

We strive to obey Jesus and continue to support those we can.

USA and Canada Feast of Tabernacles for 2024

As reported before, we have a contract for a site in Texas for the Feast of Tabernacles which runs from sunset October 16th through the Last Great Day which ends sunset October 24th in 2024.

The contract is with the Moody Gardens Hotel & Spa, 7 Hope Blvd, Galveston, TX 77554, 409-744-4673.

While the per room rate is a bit higher than other sites ($169 per night, plus taxes), remember that no one needs to stay there in order to attend the Feast of Tabernacles’ services there. The hotel provided us a link in which you can book rooms should you choose to stay here: https://www.reseze.net/servlet/SendPage?hotelid=1722&skipfirstpage=true&page=227651

That said, Moody Gardens Hotel only set aside a small block of rooms for us. We hit that number already, so I had to ask them to allow additional reservations, and they did. However, please understand that if you want to stay there, you should book soon as they may not have any available for too much longer.

While no one has to stay at that hotel, at this instant, we are encouraging people in the United States and Canada to attend the site in Galveston.

While we expect to have some type of video site in Canada, such as in New Brunswick, at this moment we are not opening it up for transfers outside of New Brunswick because of health concerns related to Herb Haddon.

Canadians normally have no problems being able to cross into the USA, so we are encouraging attendance in Galveston.

That said, all should be saving ‘second tithe’ so they will be able to afford to go to one of our festival sites around the world.

Let me add that leaders in other nations who will be hosting festival sites need to be sending information on where they intend to hold the Feast of Tabernacles so we can further update our article: Feast of Tabernacles’ Sites for 2024.

Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread in Ethiopia and South Sudan

Report from Ethiopia:

Sorry!! I late of sending you the report for the celebration of Feasts soonly because we do faced an internet trouble in the area. The feasts days were going well in Ethiopia, all of our members participated on those days.

All members passing great thanks to you and all ccog congregations in general.

Report from South Sudan:

All members were doing well, and they said, our members who were baptised last year, keep the day of Passover together with cog7 day members but the only thing they differ from, cog7 day people do not keeps the days of Unleavened bread. Only our members keep the days of Unleavened bread alone in that area.

I hope in the coming year, they would keep it alone.

Close to all of those with the CCOG in Ethiopia and South Sudan have a CG7 background of some type. And yes, our people strive to keep all the biblical holy days, whereas those affiliated with CG7 only keep the Sabbath and Passover.

World News Items

Since January of 2020, I taught in a sermonette video that what was first called the “novel coronavirus” (renamed COVID-19) logically originated from a type of leak from a laboratory. Despite the mainstream media repeatedly claiming that the “lab leak theory” had been “debunked,” I and other scientists disagreed. And there is more and more evidence that COVID came out a laboratory. Now a US Congressman wants to declassify documents to allow people see why the laboratory source appears to be correct (see ‘The lie of the century: The origin of COVID-19’ & ‘Bird Flu’ & ‘Chinese scientists create mutant Ebola virus to skirt around biosafety rules’). We taught many things about and during COVID that the mainstream media and certain government officials wrongly claimed were misinformation. Understand that such false labeling will likely happen again. We have to be wary of those who do not have the same “love of the truth” that we in the CCOG should have.

There were many devastating tornadoes in the USA this week (see BC: 16 tornadoes reported in 6 states Tornadoes hit Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee and South Dakota). There were also serious flooding in parts of Kenya. Weather changes show us that things do not always stay as they have been and sudden change/destruction can come.

We have done several sermonette videos warning about various aspects and problems with the “transgender agenda” (e.g. watch Gender Confusion, Science, and Scripture, Transgender ‘Woe to those who call evil good’,  USA pushing gender confusion, and 117th US Congress and Gendered Words). We were temporarily suspended and given a “strike” from YouTube last year for posting truth in the video: New Transgender Study.

Yet another study has come out questioning what the the USA President (and others) have wrongly called “gender affirming treatments (see ‘Largest Review On Transgender-Youth Medicine Finds Insufficient Evidence For Medicalization’ & ‘European psychiatrists warn against ‘experimental’ and harmful transgender medicine’). Such treatments are NOT “gender affirming” as they are intended to go against one’s biological sex. It is good that some research opposing that is getting out.

Over in Europe, France’s President Macron has called for Europe to expand its military and nuclear capabilities so it will not be considered as “a vassal of the United States” (see Macron: Europe needs our nukes to show it is not a vassal of the US). We know that Europe will end up with a powerful enough military to conquer the USA per Daniel 11:39. It continues to push for steps which will one day allow it to do so.

Concluding Comments

The Apostle Paul taught:

7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:7-10)

Brethren, we strive to do that and not be weary of doing so, while we also work to proclaim the good news of the coming Kingdom of God as well as prepare for the final phase of the work.
