Although we have covered many parts and verses of the remaining New Testament book, I have now begun a new sermon series that is intended to cover every verse of the Book of Revelation.
However, unlike the previous series on other books of the Bible, I only expect to cover perhaps one sermon per month or so related to the Book of Revelation.
Why?
Well, for one, I do not want to rush the process.
And for another, we may be seeing the fulfillment of certain prophesied events which will allow me to better see how certain events may tie in with prophecies in the Book of Revelation.
That said, here is a link to the recommended sermon for this Sabbath: Revealing Revelation 1:1-9.
Once the series is done, which will likely take over 2 years, we may produce a book on this.
Bible News Prophecy International

Received the following email:
Hello Dr. Thiel,
We had enough hours/time to add another language to the radio program so I researched populations and religions and thought that Russian (primarily Eastern Orthodox) would be a good fit. So I wanted to let you know I added Russian to the Bible News Prophecy Radio program. (We now play 11 languages around the clock). On the radio (and on BNPI.net) we already have 39 sermonettes, 9 sermons and 1 audiobook in Russian. It grows every week as I try to take your weekly sermonettes and create them in all 11 languages for broadcast. We have over 300 sermonettes, sermons and audiobooks in those 11 languages at BNPI.net. The library is growing. I don’t have any stats yet for Russian listeners as I just added it 2 weeks ago. Once I get some, I’ll send them to you.
We have more gentile languages than Israelite ones. I still try to convert sermonettes to other languages not listed below but sometimes AI translation software and my time hinder that. But we will have information on BNPI, Radio, and CCOG sites to be a witness when the time comes, God willing.
Our 11 languages broadcast around the clock are:
Chinese
Japanese
Vietnamese
Korean
Hindi
Russian
French
German
Portuguese (Brazilian)
Spanish
Swahili
Sermons relate to: Fatima, Mary the Mother of Jesus, 10 Commandments, 1st Commandment and Priorities, Repentance, Sabbath, Passover Examination, Halloween, Christmas, and Predestination. These are some of the topics that were suggested by some of our CCOG members. If you have other sermons that you’d like me to do please let me know.
-Kristy
I emailed Kristy back and said that we are pleased to have Russian as well as any other language we can get.
Joan Galloway reported this week that our The Gospel of the Kingdom of God book is now available in 125 languages online and that she and others are working to get additional translations.
The Bible shows that the proclamations will ultimate results in massive numbers of followers from all over and in all languages:
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:8-10)
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:9-11)
11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” (Romans 14:11)
Thus, it makes sense to get materials into whatever languages God will open up to us (cf. Revelation 3:7-8).
Students of Bible Study Program
Last week, I mentioned that Ezekiel Ombaso Oanda has an educational program in his part of Kenya (see Letter to the Brethren: October 15, 2026).
As a follow-up, he sent the following:
Shalom and good evening from Kisii highlands Kenya. We have received more rain here after a long wait.
As I mentioned to you that will share with some pictures of the students who attend Bible class here. I want to confirm that the picture attached is a Bible class who attended today.
Other pictures and maybe a video will share on Facebook messenger.
Thank you so much and remain blessed in Jesus’ name.
Yours fellow disciple of the Christ,
Ezekiel Ombaso Oanda.
Being taught through sermons, Bible study, church literature, etc. prepares us for many things, including supporting the short work of Romans 9:28 (see also Preparing for the ‘Short Work’ and The Famine of the Word).
Suggested Sabbath Service
Here is a suggested Sabbath day service for our scattered brethren and other interested people:
- 2-3 hymns (our songbook, The Bible Hymnal, contains the materials from the 1974 Bible Hymnal from the old WCG with new covers, plus ten additional hymns; there is also some Choral Accompaniment online).
- Opening prayer.
- The suggested sermonette is titled: Married adults with religion are happier. Other sermonettes are available at our Prophecy channel on BitChute https://www.bitchute.com/channel/prophecy/
- Announcements (if any; though for many it will be this letter) and one hymn.
- The suggested sermon, which for most who receive this letter is: Revealing Revelation 1:1-9. Other sermons are also available at the COGTube channel on BitChute https://www.bitchute.com/channel/cogtube/
- Final hymn.
- Closing prayer.
Note: If you have a slow internet connection, you can watch these by starting the video, then below it (and towards the right) look for an outline of a gear–if you click on that, it will allow the YouTube video to be played with lower video quality, but at least it will not stop often–you can select a quality as low as 144p. If your internet connection is still too slow (as my home one is) and/or you prefer audio messages to audio-visuals ones, go to the YouTube link for the message, click on SHOW MORE related to the description. You will then see something that says, “Download MP3.” Below that is a link to an MP3 file. Most computers (and even some cellular telephones) will allow MP3 files to be downloaded and played. This is an option we have made available (but we are also looking into ways to improve that as well)–and, of course, we have written article options. Some people have found that if their internet connections are not fast enough, that they can simply listen to the messages that are found at the Bible News Prophecy online radio channel.
IN CASE YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A ‘LETTER TO THE BRETHREN’ FOR ANY WEEK, REMEMBER THAT THERE ARE MANY SERMON MESSAGES ON THE ContinuingCOG channel AND MANY SERMONETTE MESSAGES ON THE Bible News Prophecy channel. There are also some messages at the CCOGAfrica channel. There are also messages in the Spanish language at the CDLIDDSermones channel.
World News Items
There have been riots and protests in France and other parts of Europe (see Migrant attacks and protests in Europe– 46% of Muslims in France claim they will leave if Marine Le Pen wins and Has France fallen? Destructive riots in Paris and Marseille). Some of the destruction has targeted Jewish, but not Islamic, businesses (see France, Antisemitism, and PCG on ten kings).
After a Frenchman warned that a similar fate of riotous protests could await the USA, Republican politicians and others tried to use that and the French protests to warn against voting for their Democratic party political opponents. This, as well as other actions by Republicans such as US President Donald Trump, has further incensed the Europeans who blame Donald Trump and the USA for various things (see Europeans angry at Donald Trump for climate, Ukraine-Russia, French comments, etc.–what will be the result of ‘unintended consequences’ of his presidency?). This will not end well for the USA per Daniel 11:39 and Lamentations 1:1-2.
Over in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had hoped to attack Iran again with USA assistance earlier this month, but that did not happen (see Israeli PM Netanyahu pushes for new strikes against Iran–Turkey looking to supply troops to Saudi Arabia–plus signs a defense deal with Qatar, Pakistan, and Indonesia). Many expect an attack after the November elections in the USA.
In other Middle East news, Egypt’s President Sisi has floated the idea to help defend Saudi Arabia (see Egypt’s Sisi’s offer to Saudi Arabia seems like a King of the South nudge). Furthermore, Turkey, Qatar, Pakistan, and Indonesia signed a defense agreement this week–plus Turkey is also looking to possibly supply troops to Saudi Arabia (see Israeli PM Netanyahu pushes for new strikes against Iran–Turkey looking to supply troops to Saudi Arabia–plus signs a defense deal with Qatar, Pakistan, and Indonesia). These steps towards greater military cooperation among Islamic nations, particularly those in the Middle East and North Africa, are consistent with helping set the stage for a leader that the Bible refers to as the King of the South (Daniel 11:40-43).
Concluding Comments
The Apostle John was inspired to write:
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants — things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near. (Revelation 1:1-3)
Brethren, consider that our expected sermon series on the Book of Revelation should be a blessing to you as you hear (and many will likely also read) the words of that prophecy.
Sincerely,
Bob Thiel
Pastor and Overseer
