About the Continuing Church of God in New Zealand

The Continuing Church of God is a relatively new name (since 2012) for the true Christian Church that began on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2 (more information on history can be found in the free booklet Continuing History of the Church of God).

The Continuing Church of God believes the Bible so we:

Contend earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3, NKJV),  Let brotherly love (Philadelphia) continue” (Hebrews 13:1) …continuing stedfastly in the teaching of the apostles (Acts 2:42 YLT).

Thus, we follow Jesus’ admonitions to:

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20); And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. (Matthew 24:14).

In New Zealand, John Hickey oversees the congregation there. His email address is john.h@vodafone.net.nz

Services meet weekly, on Saturdays, the seventh-day Sabbath.
